The scent in this candle is a custom blend of essential oils to give you the scent of the plants and trees that grow in the Lake Tahoe region. This is as close as you can get to the scent of the forest in Lake Tahoe in the summer time without being there.
These candles are 100% natural made from Hydrogenated Kosher Soybean oil.
The wicks are also natural. They are coreless cotton wicks braided with thin paper filaments interwoven for burn stability. This braiding technique also greatly improves rigidity compared to standard cotton and paper cored wicks.
CLEAN BURNING -- Soy wax is non-toxic and burns cleaner than paraffin, with no petrol-carbon soot which can blacken walls, ceilings, and furniture, contaminate ventilation ductwork in your home, as well as add toxic carcinogens into the air you breathe.
LONG BURNING -- Soy candles burn slower and cooler than paraffin wax, creating a longer burning candle.
RENEWABLE RESOURCE -- Soybeans are a renewable source, unlike paraffin, which consists of petroleum.
BIODEGRADABLE -- Since soybeans are vegetables, soy wax (basically made from hydrogenated soybean oil) is naturally biodegradable. Soy wax is also easier to remove from materials and other surfaces than paraffin.
