Natalchemy uses the natural materials from mother earth herself, essential oils, botanical extracts from plants, flowers, trees, and natural isolates from the earth. Nature makes all the ingredients humans need to live. Through natural processes plants have evolved with us by attracting pollinating insects, repelling predators, providing food to sustain us, herbs and Essential oils to heal the sick and injured, and aromas to lift our spirits and enhance out lives.
By using True Aromatherapy methods Natalchemy is able to formulate products based on essential oils to achieve harmony in spirit and energy as well as the physical effects that are desired.

Fair Trade:
We always give priority to Fair Trade items from producers in developing countries to help trading conditions and promote sustainability. The Fair Trade movement advocates the payment of a higher price to producers as well as social and environmental standards. Fair trade Shea butter cost more to purchase than the non-fair trade items. We believe in promoting the sustainability and improving the living conditions in these developing countries is more important than overall profits from purchasing lower cost ingredients.
Sustainable Growth:
Some of the essential oils from woods have caused severe ecological damage due to over harvesting. Sandalwood is prime example. Natalchemy will not purchase
mysore sandalwood due to the thriving black market that now exists in the
mysore sandalwood trade. Natalchemy will purchase ingredients that are from Sustainable Growth sources even when these items may now cost more than the cheaper sources that are destroying the resources.
Organic:
Natalchemy will purchase certified Organic ingredients when they are available. Organically produced Essential oils are still subject to the stringent GC/MS testing that all essential oils go through to ensure their quality and integrity.
