Why Sugar ? Salts scrubs are great and have their own benefits but what can be more fun than a Sugar Scrub. Besides the fact that sugar cane crystals are great for gentle exfoliation. Sugar on the skin is an emollient, a mild emulsifier and a humectant which helps soften and soothe the skin. It is often used to correct dryness and scaling. The sugar grains used in our formula easily dissolve on the skin while providing excellent exfoliation properties.
Sugar is not the only great ingredient in this scrub
High Oleic Safflower Oil : The glow comes from this high quality oil. It has a higher percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids. 76% as opposed to 13% in regular safflower oil. High Oleic Safflower Oil is also produced from plants using traditional methods and not through the use of biotechnology. This oil is non-comedogenic, which means it will not clog your pores.
Lavender Essential Oil:This fabulous flower works on the skin and the spirit. It is a natural antiseptic, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. Lavender is believed to enhance the immune system. A balancing, harmonizing herb, it stimulates while also relaxing and calming. The natural scent comes from the Lavender Essential oils.
Vitamin E: When applied directly onto the skin, it acts an antioxidant which prevents the formation of free radicals on the skin and protects it from damage. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Silica: This allows the skin to be polished and helps remove the dull dead skin cells.
Directions: Scoop with fingers and apply directly to skin in a gentle circular motion. Use while bathing or showering. Can be used before showering for even greater exfoliation.
